Athletic background: Softball, swimming, some biking, roller skating, and
rock climbing. I also took P.E. class very seriously.
Likes and interests: Besides Roller Derby, I love to sing, eat, and cook. I am a huge theatre nerd so going to plays and musicals is a big deal to me. Being outside even in the cold is something I enjoy. I also really like naps, and always get the giggles when I see a Llama, Goat, Sheep, or Sloth. Finally I just honestly like to be goofy and try not to take life too seriously.
Dislikes: First off I do not like Keanu Reeves or Nicholas Cage, just gonna get that out there. Other dislikes of mine are, Celery, bullies, long set changes, and odd numbers!
Why Derby: I joined roller derby because I was always the girl who wanted to play Football and Hockey. I like aggressive sports and anything with wheels, so it seemed like a perfect fit! Turns out it was and I could not imagine my life without this sport.
Derby goals: My goals for this season are to become more comfortable with jumping and improve my communication skills. As a blocker I want to work on bettering my backwards blocking. As a Jammer I am going to work on pushing through harder and getting lead jammer status as much as I can.
